Scheduled Servicing

Major and minor service intervals to manufacturer spec. Oils, filters, fluids, belts, hoses, brake adjustments — full report on collection.

Computer Diagnostics

Workshop-grade ECU scan tools across the major makes. Live data, freeze-frame, sensor verification — we explain what we found, plainly.

Brake & Clutch

Disc and drum systems, pad & lining replacement, slack adjusters, ABS/EBS diagnostics, full clutch overhauls. Same-day turnaround on most jobs.

Engine Repairs

Top-end overhauls, head gasket work, common-rail injector services, and full engine rebuilds — to OEM torque specs and clearances. No shortcuts.

Suspension & Steering

Leaf springs, air bellows, king pins, shocks, steering boxes — replaced, aligned and signed off. Heavy-duty parts only.

Fleet Maintenance

Custom service schedules per vehicle, consolidated month-end invoicing, dedicated account contact, optional collection & return in greater Cape Town.

Service detail

What’s included — in plain language

Major service (every 60,000–80,000 km depending on make)

Engine oil & filter, fuel and air filters, transmission and differential oil checks, brake fluid, coolant top-up, full vehicle inspection, propshaft and brake adjustment, wheel torque check. Detailed report and any flagged items costed before work starts.

Minor service (every 30,000–40,000 km)

Engine oil & filter, fuel filter primary, visual inspection of brakes, suspension, electrical, leaks. Tyre pressure and condition. Lights and signal check. Quick turnaround — typically half a day.

Diagnostics & fault finding

Workshop-grade scan tools for the full FAW range — J5 medium, J6 / J6P heavy, JH6 flagship. Live ECU data, freeze-frame, sensor verification. We diagnose and explain, not guess and replace. Coverage for other major makes coming soon.

Brake systems

Disc and drum systems, pad and lining replacement, slack adjuster service, ABS/EBS diagnostic, full brake-line inspection. Compressed air system service for tractor units.

Fleet account servicing

Custom service intervals, dedicated account contact, monthly statements with line-item detail, scheduled bookings to suit your operation, optional collection & return service in greater Cape Town.

Frequently asked

Do you work on FAW trucks?

Yes — full FAW range from J5 medium tractors to JH6 flagship. We hold stock of common service parts and have direct lines to FAW Trucks Southern Africa for everything else.

How long does a major service take?

A standard major service is a one-day job. We’ll confirm a pick-up time when you book. Anything found during inspection is costed and approved by you before work continues.

Can you collect and return my truck?

Yes — available for fleet accounts within greater Cape Town as part of the service package. Single-vehicle owners are welcome to drop off Mon–Fri 07:30–17:00 or Sat 08:00–13:00.

Do you offer warranty on workshop work?

Workmanship is covered for 1 month from date of completion, provided the vehicle hasn’t been worked on elsewhere in the interim. New parts carry a 3-month / 15,000km warranty subject to manufacturer terms (electrical components excluded). Full detail in our Terms & Conditions.

Are you BEE compliant?

Yes. As a Portland Group division we hold a current BBBEE certificate — available on request for tender purposes.

Do you handle insurance work?

For mechanical repair following an incident, yes. Body and panel work we refer to a trusted partner — we don’t fudge what we don’t do best.

What about customer-supplied parts?

We can fit parts you’ve sourced yourself, but installation is at the owner’s risk — we can’t warranty parts we didn’t supply, or labour if those parts fail. We’ll always recommend a known-quality alternative if we’d be uncomfortable fitting yours.
